This album is the first musical work of S’inia, a visual artist from northern Italy. In this experimental solo album, the artist shares her own meditative inner world with a very personal soundscape and an imaginary language whispered as if she were talking to our unconscious. Beyond the idea of ​​music and perception, this album transport us to a striking elsewhere.

« With her debut album A Blind Water Whisper Sinking Into Ascension, S’inia brings us to the cosmological journey of our own body of water. Somewhere between maternal lullaby and ancient psalmody, voices from the abyssal and higher realms are calling us.
Sound after sound, in every water drop, the uncanny polyphony reveals a place itself. A vast cave, a refuge for chimeras like Nun the water snake, or Huma the prophetic bird…

Blending ambient, folk, and neo-classical textures, S’inia crafts an intimate collage of light language (a form of glossolallia), liquid field recording, reverberated voice sampling, violins drones with piano and groundy percussions. »

“We are water beings. And the water we carry with us holds the code of the primordial memory.
A code we can all access by connecting to our body of water.

Water and sound have been at the core of most of S’inia’s multi-disciplinary projects, as it is still at the center of her life. For a long time, she visited an imaginary yet very tangible place: a Sacred Spring in the middle of a native unexplored forest. In that place, she talked to water, and became water herself.

And as we return into our water origin, we start to remember the profound meaning of its sacred language.”  H
